What an interesting take on salt! I’m not typically familiar with any type of Himalayan Salt, so this was exciting to learn more about. Himalayan salt is mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan. The salt often has a pinkish tint due to mineral impurities.

This Fine Himalayan Black Salt combines Himalayan Crystal Salt with the Salsola Socksii plant, which naturally adds an egg-like, or sulphuric like aroma that enhances the richness of your favourite meals. This salt works great in your favourite soups, fried rice, noodles and also your egg dishes.

We decided to make a mushroom and cheese omelette with the Fine Black Himalayan salt. It was a new take on one of our family favourites. 🤍

You Can Try This Recipe:
Fine Black Himalayan Salt Mushroom and Cheese Omelette.

You will need:
2 eggs
2 tablespoons lactose free milk
Pinch of Fine Black Himalayan salt
1-2. mushrooms
Lactose Free Shredded cheese ( Marble is a fav)
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of steak spice

Directions:
Break eggs into glass measuring cup. Check for shells. Add milk, Fine Black Himalayan salt, steak spice and pepper. Beat with fork until blended.

Heat frying pan on stove. You can add you favourite cooking spray or plant based butter to coat the pan. Slice 1-2 mushrooms and throw in pan. Cook on medium for 4-5 mins or until brown. Add your mixture of beaten eggs. Cook your eggs until your able to flip. Flip the omelette, add your shredded cheese mixture to have the egg. Fold the omelette in half. Let it cook for 1-2 mins or until cheese is completely melted. That’s it! Enjoy your breakfast 🍳
