Last weekend the girls headed off to their dads, so it was my weekend to spend some time with Jon and his family. Saturday, we went for a hike with his little kiddos on the escarpment trail in #hamont. I grew up playing on this very trail. Have taken my own kids now to this trail. Now get to experience it with his kids. I find it very heartwarming to say the least.

Going back 22 years ago, I would climb the escarpment with my girlfriends. I was maybe 12 or 13. Sometimes we’d just sit at the top and stare at the city, others we’d be climbing to walk another few kilometres to get to the roller gardens 😅 ( roller skating place that was open along time ago.. that’s dating me. Ouch )

While on our walk, his kiddos got to see some snakes 🐍, spiders 🕷, different variations of flowers 🌸 , eat some wild raspberries, as well as explore some smaller caves. We all enjoyed the time spent together ♥️

I have spent the last couple weeks exploring new places with my girls. We’ve been heading to conservation and provincial parks lately. Do you have a favourite places you like to spend outdoors with your family? I’d be interested in hearing about it! Let me know! 👇🏻♥️
