This summer we have spent a lot more time hiking. This time last year, I was just heading into my appointment to get my IUD changed, not knowing cancer was in my future. 🤭

With my health being on the up and up, me and the girls have been able to get out and get more exercise. I still am restricted on how much walking my hips can handle, but it’s been worth every second in nature with the girls.

With that being said, being in nature more means being in contact with more mosquitoes 🦟 I’ve always been one to run for the deet, but @shooshaorganic recently gifted me an organic lemon eucalyptus summer spray to test out in return for my review.

We’ve never used organic bug spray. I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know they made it 😅 So I was very excited to put it to the test! The spray has no petrochemicals or any other synthetic ingredients. This product causes absolutely no harm to the environment 🌿✨

Me and the girls took a trip to Balls Falls Conservation and took an incredible hike around some of the of old village, checked out the lower falls and then hiked back up to the top of the falls 😍

It wasn’t until we got into the forest area heading towards the upper falls that we encountered the mosquitoes 🦟 I sprayed each of our outfits, arms, legs and hair with the lemony smelling spray. We spent over an hour on that particular trail and we were not bothered or bitten. Funny enough, me and the girls were laughing because at the top of the ruins, a mosquito flew towards my shirt, stopped dead and turned around 😅😂😂😂🤭 I didn’t have to reapply either, the one time application worked for the entire walk.

I’m sold on this 💯. I won’t ever go back to any other bug spray. The smell of this is great, and it ACTUALLY worked for us!! 🤷🏼♀️🥳 I give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
