I recently received the @becelca plant based spread free for testing purposes.😋 It comes in salted and unsalted, anddddd I was blessed with salted 👌🏻 Funny enough, I’m actually a huge butter fan, but my boyfriend is a huge margarine fan… so I was definitely excited to see how this measured up again my normal brick of butter. .

I decided to try it with two pieces of plain jane toast. I wanted to really get the taste of the product, not to mention, toast and butter is damn delicious. Toast is definitely something I’ve eaten a lot more of since I went thorough cancer treatments last year, and luckily I still seem to enjoy it after all that🤘🏻

Honestly though, it was actually quite pleasant. It’s not as creamy as butter is. I find there to be a very minor aftertaste, but it’s not terrible. It’s not overly salted. It spreads on toast really well, even when the brick is cold. Which we all know butter can’t do 😅 If the store didn’t have butter, I would definitely buy this as an alternative. The next test for this really is to see how it holds up when we bake with it 🍪 .
