📍 La Grande Hermine – Jordan Station, Lincoln, Ontario ⛵️
“Ships don’t sink because the water around them; ships sink because the water that gets in them. Don’t let what happening around you get inside and weigh you down.”
The last couple weeks have been…. well overwhelming to say the least but we are getting through it day by day ❤️
Just before Christmas we went to Jordan Harbour to grab some pictures of the La Grande Hermine before they removed its masts due to environmental concerns. Such a beautiful little shipwreck tucked off the QEW highway near Lincoln, Ontario. The Niagara “pirate ship” as people call it, was built in 1914. It started as a ferry, that became a cargo ship and than was supposed to become a floating restaurant, but it never did as the owner past away before he could complete his dreams. The shipwreck ended up becoming an attraction for Jordan Harbour.
Christmas Eve and Christmas morning was a beautiful time spent with my girls. The girls had to leave for their other family visitations Christmas Day. After coming back Boxing Day evening, both girls started feeling ill. Few days later we were told that they had contracted COVID from their visitations and would need to quarantine đź’”
So here we are, quarantining to start off our New Year. We have 8 days left in our #quarantine, and feeling pretty damn shitty so far. We are looking forward to getting back on our feet. ✌🏻#covidfun
How was your holidays? I hope everyone enjoyed both their Christmas and New Years celebrations ❤️
